I was born in Tartu, Estonia, where I reside also today.
As of now I have been building early stringed instruments for more than 15 years. I have mainly specialised in studying and building medieval and renaissance stringed instruments. In building each of my instruments, I rely on authentic iconographic sources and use historical models, materials and construction techniques. All instruments are handmade and custom designed to meet needs and desires of the clients, so each instrument will be unique.
I have made instruments to the students of Schola Cantorum Basiliensis and already well-established early music ensembles and performes all over the world.
